Chris currently lives in Durham, North Carolina. He has been programming since he was nine years old and writing software professionally for over 10 years. Chris is a creative problem solver and a quick study of new technologies and techniques. There is no platform, programming language or type of software that Chris can't work with, and he's always looking for new challenges.

Chris' recent experience has involved Web application development with Java and Python. On the Python side of things, Chris has been interested in deploying full content management systems using Zope and Plone as well as writing small, nimble Web applications using WSGI. For Web site development, Chris often collaborates with graphic designers and Web producers who take care of the visual design and marketing concept while Chris writes the software to provide rich online tools to end users. Chris has also started to reconnect with his C/C++ roots and has gotten back into writing native desktop applications.
